You can know Jesus, hear Jesus, and see Jesus presenting eternal life, the gracious gift of
eternity from God to believers.
As human beings subject to death, the marvellous gift we can ever receive is to live
forever. We read in the Bible that when man was still fresh from diseases, men lived longer,
some up to nine hundred years in the beginning. Then as sin abounded more and more and
disease too, man’s days on earth became shorter.
It must have been wonderful to live so long. At best, some people live to one hundred
years, but most are shrivelled human beings, their skin wrinkled and worn, looking their age
